ABOUT
Christina is an illustrator, designer, and digital narrative artist with an MFA in Visual Narrative from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. She specializes in illustrating and designing both stand-alone images and sequential narratives for digital platforms. She is a recipient of the Will Eisner Sequential Art Award from the SVA Student Alumni Association as well as a Shirley Holden Helberg Grant from the National League of American PEN Women for work on her MFA thesis, a multimedia graphic novel called Landfall.
Christina's current projects include a trilogy of interactive digital graphic novels for faithandreason.org based on the scholarship of John Dominic Crossan, and several private Judaica art commissions. Christina writes and illustrates a monthly feature called Bird's Eye View for Coast Monthly Magazine, which explores Texas Gulf Coast bird species. She also runs an Etsy shop, MazalModernArt, on which she sells fine art prints of her Judaica and Bird's Eye View artwork.
Christina is based in the Columbia region of central Maryland.
